The Gaseous-Nauseous-Vaporus Hudfish

Over many years of radiation & contamination in the Hudson River, many species of sea life have evolved to adapt to the ever-changing surroundings. One of these specimens is the Carpus Vaporus, more popularly known as the Hudfish. Some have negatively called them "Fart Factory Fish", for it's smokestack-like emission tubes on it's back & for it's horrid stench, which has been compared to a mixture of motor oil, rotten eggs & week old Chinese Food. Due to it's high levels of radioactivity, they're extremely harmful to humans & other living organisms, so stay clear of 'em!

Beware.... this creature makes Chernobyl look like Disneyland!

The Hudson River Dragon

I guess one would say, or at least I would, that this Dragon mutated from some sort of fish (carp?) that had come into contact with some sort of virus that lives in the Hudson river but has mutated into some sort of super virus (sort of like resident evil 4) and this transformed the fish into the Dragon. Now, this beast doesn't eat with it's mouth, it's just used to filter water kind of like a whale (I forgot the name of the whale, but whatever). Instead, it uses a mouth filled with razor sharp teeth that is located on the palm of the Dragon's hand. This is beneficial to the Dragon, since it can grab and eat it's prey, all in one movement. Well, that's it. Comments, etc., etc..............................................................

Whaddaya know.... another Defaulter!!!

Well, here we go again....

Since I was the only guy who posted, I win this week & get to choose the next topic. Whoop-de-doo... Ok, for this week, we'll do somethin' a bit different from the last few weeks:

Back at SVA, when Patrick McDonnel (creator of the comic-strip Mutts) spoke at the school, he told us that he had to take an "art exam" to get into the college. Unlike a written exam or essay, he had to draw all of his answers. One of the assignments on the test was to design a fish that could survive in the Hudson River. For those of you who don't know, the Hudson River was (& still is) highly contaminated with sewage & harmful chemicals from the G.E. Corporation.

He then drew his answer, which looked somethin' like this:

This answer got him into the school.

So, this week, I'd like to see how imaginative & original you guys really are. So this week's topic is the same as the one given to Patrick McDonnel: DESIGN A FISH THAT COULD SURVIVE IN THE HUDSON RIVER. Be very creative with your answers!

The due date will be Saturday, June 14th @ Midnight.

*By the way, the drawing I did above does not count as my entry, so this drawing does not count in the final vote.*
