YES! This week's topic is MIIIIINNNNNEEEEE! Mwaaaaahahahahahaaaaaaa! (cough) Ahem, sorry.
I decided this week should be a blast from our past. This week's topic will be Enemies from the Super Mario Games! It could range from the most minuscule of baddies (Goombas, Koopas, etc.) to big bad bosses (Bowser, Wart, etc.).
Due date is (as usual) this Saturday night at Midnight.

Sunrise from Space
This was a last minute job. Oh well, at least I did it.
Wouldn't this be a great view outside your bedroom window every morning? But after a while you'd get bored with it & put up some of those crappy plastic window decals of butterflies & flowers to go with those glow-in-the-dark stars up on the ceiling. After all, were only human.

Week #5 - Celestial Bodies
It's unanimous! Cheshire wins "Undersea Creatures Week"! Well deserved! Congratulations!
After much deduction & thought, Cheshire decided that this week's topic shall be "CELESTIAL BODIES". You know... planets, moons, comets, galaxies, suns, etc. NO ALIENS, SPACE SHIPS OR UFOs!
Due date is Saturday @ midnight. It's gonna be inter-stellar this week, baby!

Octopus VS. Shark
There's been a rut of shark-related hype everywhere these days (including here), so here's mud in your eye you shark fans!
I think the octopus is one of the coolest creatures on earth. What other animal has not only great intelligence, but can also change colors, expel ink, detach it's own limbs, mimic other animals & fit into spaces many times smaller than it's own? They're like James Bond, only with the gadgets already built in.
The strange thing is... why aren't there any movies about octopuses? There's millions on sharks (Jaws, Deep Blue Sea, Open Water, Shark Tale), but not one with an octopus as the main baddie! I think there could be a lot of potential in an octopus film, & think of the cool names that can come out of it: Tentacles, Mad Mollusk, Octopus Rex... THINK ABOUT IT, PEOPLE! I'd rather see a movie about killer octopuses than a bunch of remakes, rehashes, sequels & films based off TV shows & video games.
But I have to admit, the shark-hype doesn't annoy me as much as the penguin-hype does!
"GO, OCTOPUSES, GO!"

Deep Blue Sea
Colors rock. ^^ I drew this while I watching Deep Blue Sea, it's my personal artistic take on the demonic killer genetically altered sharks that had their brains messed with in order to cure Alzheimer's disease. Yay for evil intelligant sharks!! Oh, it's been colored with a mix of colored pencils and marker. Yay for Crayola!!

Prehistory Week Over! Vote Time!
OK, folks. This week is done. Now it's time for the political part of the week.
I'm gonna try something a little different this week. Instead of stating your votes in the comments section, you will now vote via poll! I've added a poll to the blog, so now all your votes will be tallied officially. It's as easy as clicking two buttons!
Votes on the comments sections will no longer be official votes, since we don't want people to vote twice. You can still comment on why you like the week's submissions, but other than that it's basically a "chatter box".
Since this whole poll thing is new, I'm making the deadline Monday at 12 noon to give you newbies more time.

Cornered!
I couldn't decide which prehistoric creature to use this week, so I decides to use a few faves: the wooly mammoth, the saber-toothed tiger & the moa.
Once again, we're the culprits here. Sure, maybe it's a little extreme to think of us as the sole reason why these animals are no longer walking the earth, but we had a part in it somewhere. We're like a cat who knocks over & breaks something: you know it did it, it knows it did it, but it still doesn't show guilt or take responsibility for it's actions. "Who me?... I don't think so. Ask somebody else. Maybe THEY did it."
We're not only bad people, but we're also bad liars.

Tylosaurus
Tylosaurus -(NOT AN ACTUAL DINOSAUR)-Was one of the largest known seagoing lizards. Close in appearance to a modern crocodile, it was a hunter of fish and shellfish. It lived in the time of the Dinosaurs.
